★《那天以後》權海虓再挑大樑，一人詮釋多角導演與女兒多年未見，為了幫助想學習室內設計的女兒，感情生疏的兩人一同造訪了導演的設計師好友，以及她買下的四層樓公寓。
設計師帶著他們逐層參觀，一邊說起每層住戶的生活，從一二樓的餐廳私廚、三樓情侶的舒適小窩，到住著畫家的頂樓，他們拾級而上，也不禁想像起住在這棟公寓裡的模樣。
近年接連推出《引言》、《在你面前》、《小說家電影》等口碑佳作的南韓名導洪常秀，再次以簡約節制的風格、黑白畫面展現出他的影像魔法。
全片故事發生在一棟四層公寓內，僅靠著六個演員譜寫出四間住戶的生活樣態，電影更在配樂的串接下打破時空疆界，觀影過程如同經歷了一場又一場的夢境。
《四層公寓》於多倫多影展首映後引爆媒體好評，稱其為洪常秀又一次的自我突破，電影在知名評論網爛番茄上也以「100%」新鮮度好評開盤。
藉著《在你面前》闊別數年再次榮登百想影后的李慧英，連續三部片參演洪常秀執導作，繼《在你面前》過氣女星、《小說家電影》靈感枯竭的作家後，這次則演出在公寓內穿針引線的設計師房東，儘管戲份不多仍舊展露出影后氣場。
洪氏電影固定班底權海虓，則是繼《那天以後》再度擔綱主角，演出與女兒疏遠，事業又面臨動盪的名導演，電影中權海虓穿梭在公寓的不同房間內，一人詮釋出多種角色人生，堪稱演員生涯的突破之作。
