台南真善美劇院

宮古座、延平戲院到真善美劇院重疊的拼接，日據時期「艱苦坐」的榻榻米到「請起立」唱國歌的影廳，電影寫實主義時至當代電影氛圍，中影與台灣電影之間的歷史有著傳承與啟發的使命。
台南真善美劇院特別聘請鬼才建築師朱世康，刻意以復舊的手法來引發空間體驗者思考的企圖，時空穿越的延伸與轉化對劇院印象，故特別保留延平戲院的舊磚石、木材、舊門窗家俱、舊圖像…等飽含記憶的建材，展示保存延平戲院所使用過的膠卷放映設備，與早期巷弄形式的呈現，並重現經典電影戀戀風塵男女主角在鐵道上聊天的情景，令種種過往生活痕跡的再現，使每一位進入劇院的閱聽眾，在購票時、進場前、觀影後，在每個回眸、每次轉彎、每次停留中，都會有不一樣的體驗。
此外，也邀請曾為延平戲院手繪看板師傅顏振發先生，繪製比3D更真實的宮古座戲院，顏師傅的超高超技術，將宮古座繪製栩栩如生完整呈現，特為此畫作落款。
斥資一億兩千萬台幣的台南真善美劇院，打造充滿文化氣息、懷舊復古風格的電影閱讀空間；一樓門廳的規劃，從都市環境中，塑造出寧靜溫暖的家的感覺，讓觀眾能在欣賞電影前，有一個洗滌心靈的前奏；四樓影廳以跳色舒適座椅、全新杜比７．１環繞音響等級，提供讓觀眾能在電影播放前後休憩討論的藝文環境，希望能讓更多的人來到台南真善美劇院，不只是看電影，而是能有一個完整的心靈之旅。
