劇情簡介：
伊朗電影導演賈法潘納希被政府限制禁拍電影，但他隱居伊朗鄉村利用遠端遙控的方式指導身在土耳其的演員和劇組人員，拍攝一對想要透過假護照前往歐洲的情侶的故事。
沒想到最後他們只有一本護照造成兩人辭演，女主角更因此失蹤。
影片無法繼續拍攝，陷入了苦難。
在這個伊朗村莊邊境，一直有著熊隻出沒的傳聞。
潘納希也因為遠端執導影片的過程中，因為拍攝一張少女與情人的照片，而捲入一樁婚姻糾紛之中，引發當地居民的躁動。
在他最後決定離開此地時，許多問題卻接踵而來...
【關於電影】
奪獎無數的伊朗知名導演賈法潘納希在軟禁中仍戮力拍攝電影《這不是一部電影》《計程人生》《這裡沒有熊》皆無法在伊朗上映頻頻在國際影展奪下大獎的伊朗名導賈法潘納希，曾在1995年處女作《白氣球》拿下當年的坎城金攝影機獎；接著1997年的第二部作品《誰能帶我回家》則成為盧卡諾影展的最高榮譽金豹獎得主，也是當年紐約影評人協會的最佳外語片；而第三部電影《生命的圓圈》又獲得了威尼斯影展金獅獎。
這三部電影也讓賈法潘納希奠立基礎成為國際影壇最受矚目的伊朗導演，但也因為賈法的直言不諱與勇於挑戰當局的作為，讓他成為伊朗政府眼中的頭痛人物，同時也對他下達禁拍令長達20年。
即使如此仍阻擋不了賈法潘納希用盡各種方式努力拍攝電影的熱情，最著名的案例就是他在2011年拍攝了《這不是一部電影》一片，還將全片放入硬碟中夾帶在蛋糕中偷渡到坎城影展才能順利放映。
2011年底潘納希被釋放出獄後轉為軟禁限制出境，困難重重卻陸續拍攝多部長片，包括2015年的《計程人生》、2018年的《三張面孔》跟最新作品《這裡沒有熊》，雖然許多影壇人士多方奔走，但是伊朗司法部仍判定潘納希需繼續服刑，也讓他無法前去威尼斯影展與觀眾見面。
本片獲威尼斯影展評審團特別獎全場影人起立喝采賈法潘納希在艱困中創作產出《這裡沒有熊》真實諷刺伊朗現境《這裡沒有熊》是賈法潘納希的第九部長片也是他第四部「非法」拍攝的電影，由於這部電影的劇情和製作技術都比《計程人生》更上層樓，因此也勇奪威尼斯評審團特別獎，獲獎時全場影人起立鼓掌表達敬意。
自編自導自演的潘納希因為無法出境只能透過兩位演員米娜卡瓦尼和雷札海伊達里帶領，雷札也向媒體傳達導演潘納希的話語：「無論身處在監獄裡或監獄外，藝術家仍可以因為熱愛藝術、熱愛電影而製造訊息。
」最後在國際影壇的施壓下伊朗政府在2023年2月釋放了賈法潘納希！
《這裡沒有熊》編導潘納希同時演出本片的男主角一名導演，透過戲裡戲外的創作困境暗喻了導演本人的真實情況，全片利用兩條劇情支線，以仿紀錄片形式與村民們的信念交織出了社會的縮影。
片名《這裡沒有熊》指的是居民謠傳村落外有熊出沒，但事實上邊境並沒有熊出沒，同時「熊」也作為本片的恐懼符號，反映出了人民面對威嚇的反應和心態，本片也是賈法潘納希繼柏林影展金熊獎作品《計程人生》後，再一次拍出針貶伊朗社會現貌的真實之作。
