《我們的最強暑假》風靡法國，刷新法國550萬人次票房的紀錄，法式電影獨有的有趣幽默，充斥著赤子之心和慵懶浪漫的感覺，真是讓人大呼過癮。
人物的塑造非常鮮活立體，從小男孩，爸爸，媽媽，奶奶，爸爸的朋友和一眾小朋友，用幾個小事件透過小鏡頭就塑造出這齣人物的形象，尤其是爸爸的性格最為豐滿，媽媽其次。
把一個平凡的人物講述得那麼不平凡，閃現着人性的光輝，將這些小人物的快樂和憂愁表現出來，讓觀眾會心一笑。
全片充滿著童真可愛，孩子們得純真與大人糾結混合在幽默中，悠長假期配合蔚藍海岸線，讓心情都穿上了泳裝曬上了日光浴。
本片有另一大吸睛亮點，加入鬼靈精怪的小女孩角色「伊莎貝拉」，增添不少看頭。
剛開始一言不發，只用大眼睛盯着小男生，她顯得古怪俏皮，又感到害怕，夥伴們搞出一系列可愛的惡作劇，造就出這部童趣橫生的電影。
導演勞倫泰拉德藉由本片向法國喜劇巨匠賈克大地《于洛先生的假期》致敬。
