劇情簡介：
年輕有為的軍官埃沙還沒上戰場，就因參加迎新活動遭到軍校學長霸凌而喪命。
他的哥哥伊斯梅爾與母親為了幫弟弟討回公道，積極向軍方請求究責，並讓埃沙入葬軍人公墓，然而軍方卻始終迴避要求，使得埃沙無法順利下葬。
在一邊守喪，一邊為弟弟捍衛榮耀的日子裡，伊斯梅爾憶起兒時在阿爾及利亞與父親愛恨難解的關係、來到法國後日漸疏離的兄弟親情，而最讓他難以忘懷的還是那段到台北探望在台大留學的弟弟，並意外在異地重拾往日情誼的短暫日子。
本片為阿爾及利亞裔的法籍導演哈希德阿米第二部劇情長片，由《放牛班的春天》金獎製片尼古拉馬沃奈，以及《美國女孩》馬君慈共同擔任製片，拍攝橫跨摩洛哥、法國、台灣三地。
改編自導演與弟弟親身經歷，將國族歧視、身分認同的難題，以及痛失所愛親人的思念與悲痛，交織成一段動人真摯的回憶故事。
【關於電影】
導演與弟弟的親身故事改編，與至親的漫長告別橫跨巴黎、摩洛哥、台北三地拍攝，重建記憶中的家族往事台、法合作電影《榮耀之路》為導演哈希德阿米第二部劇情長片，改編自他的親身經歷，講述他的弟弟多年前曾赴台大留學，卻在返國後懷抱偉大夢想進入軍校就讀時，不幸遭學長霸凌離世。
本片劇本耗時五年完成，細膩爬梳一個阿拉伯移民家庭在法國的複雜處境，以及面對信仰與身分認同的永恆課題。
導演哈希德阿米表示自己一開始就打算來台灣拍片，好好重現自己與弟弟當年在台北一起度過的美好時光，因此，他在台灣製片馬君慈的協助下，走訪了中正紀念堂、西門町徒步區、烏來紅河谷、台北小巨蛋等極具代表性的台灣景點取景，「在台北的那段時光對我而言彌足珍貴，在異地的日子反而讓我們成為真正的兄弟。
」此外，出身阿爾及利亞的他坦言本想赴阿爾及利亞拍攝童年回憶的故事線，卻因當地政局不穩，在多方安全考量下無奈放棄，改往摩洛哥進行拍攝，為找到符合劇情設定的場景，努力在一周內四處奔波取景。
本片由多名實力派演員共同演出，找來和導演一樣擁有阿爾及利亞血統的法國演員卡里姆萊克盧，飾演為死去弟弟的榮耀奮戰到底的哥哥伊斯梅爾；被名導阿布戴柯西胥挖掘的新銳演員沙伊恩布曼丁，飾演夢想成為法國首位阿拉伯裔將軍，卻不幸早逝的弟弟埃沙；他們的母親則找來以《天堂此時》、《烈火焚身》震撼全球影壇的魯比娜阿扎巴爾演出。
此外，曾入圍金馬影后的台灣演員宋芸樺，也特別演出埃沙在台灣結交的女友茱莉，宋芸樺不僅以自然的演技將痛失所愛的悲痛精準演繹，更挑戰全英語演出，與兩位法國男星有多場精采對手戲。
對於演員們的表現，導演哈希德阿米表示非常滿意，「演員是電影作品的核心，我很榮幸能與這麼多傑出的演員合作！
」他也坦言，這部電影不單只是關於他的弟弟，一個在軍中死亡的年輕軍官，更多是探索生命的多重可能性、家人之間難以割捨的親情羈絆、自我的追尋、異鄉與故鄉的情感認同等普世性課題，也期盼觀眾能透過電影，在這些情感碰撞中找出屬於自己的答案。
